Google today released its schedule for this year’s Google I/O conference. And though it’s not entirely a surprise, we now know for sure that the company will be previewing the next version of Android at the event: Android M.
Although Google doesn’t directly mention it, 9to5Google spotted some text under the Android for Work Update Session referencing the OS:
Android M is bringing the power of Android to all kinds of workplaces. This opens huge new markets for hundreds of millions of devices to workers at small business, deskless workers, logistics and warehousing jobs; all be empowered by adoption of Android devices at Work.
Google appears to have since removed any mention of it, however.
We’ll be there, so stay tuned to TNW come May 28. Android M&M anyone?
